Personal Fitness Training with a Highly Educated Professional Personal Trainer

Are Your Workouts Boring?  Are You Getting the Results You Want?

Can working out can be a drag sometimes?  Do you like to do the same thing over and over again?

You may not get the results you desire.  You may not have the motivation to even go to the gym.  When either of these occurs it may be time to get personal training from a qualified, insured, and certified personal trainer with the NASM.

You will look forward to each unique training session when you train with Mike.  Just because you will be training hard doesn't mean you won't be having fun though. Mike is not a clinical type of personal trainer.  He is fun and has the ability to multi-task to create a fun, productive personal training program.

Personal Training should NOT be tedious and boring like the average day at work.

You shouldn't dread every personal training session like going to the dentist either.  Mike is here to provide motivation, instruction and more motivation while maintaining a fun, but productive atmosphere.

Regardless of your current fitness levels, experience, and goals you will benefit from Mike's unique and effective personal training technique.

The personal training technique of Mike Behnken, MS, CSCS is best described as taking the pertinent aspects of many different personal training methods and put them together scientifically to assure that you will get the results you desire and most importantly have fun.

Mike started as a personal trainer during his junior year at the university.  His experience which began instructing post-menopausal women in weight training progressed to being the head strength assistant coaching high level NCAA football players who wanted to be bigger, faster, and stronger.

His personal training career has progressed to working with normal people like you.

Does this mean that the fitness program of an NCAA football player and a 40s something office worker will not have anything in common?  Not necessarily.

The science behind weight training has long been forgotten in this society of people who are constantly looking for the "magic pill."

As a personal trainer and lifestyle coach, past and current clients have had fun, educational, and productive personal training programs.

Science intact, you will be guided through a personal training program which will not only challenge you, but keep you motivated, interested, and entertained.

What Mike Stands For as a Personal Trainer

  • Basic, intermediate, and advanced scientific principles as the base of your personal training fitness program.
  • A progressive personal training approach.
  • Use my knowledge & experience to modify your workout to meet your very specific needs.
  • Encouraging healthy behavior which benefits your mind, body & soul.
  • No extravagant or unsupported claims.

What Mike is Not; What a Personal Trainer Shouldn't be

  • A used car salesman moonlighting as a personal trainer.
  • Using a personal training technique which was learned from a single textbook or magazine, which is the only source of formal education.  A personal trainer should put you through a program which suits your individual, specific needs.
  • Recycler of the same personal training workout from client to client.  This is not personal training.
