Pre-formance
Designed to be ingested 30-60 minutes before physical
activity. Cytomax Pre-formance is a protein heavy
pre-workout drink mixture. It contains some other
interesting vitamins, minerals and free form amino acids.
If your last meal before your physical activity was rich in
protein it may be wise to just the regular Cytomax instead.

specifically designed for recovery of exercise. Should

replacement drink. Unlike Gatorade which uses sucrose
syrup (table sugar) Cytomax uses a blend of maltodextrin

replacement during exercise and increased energy.

Creatine has been proven to get good results for most
people. Once the most expensive supplement is now
cheap in it's monohydrate form The newest form of
creatine, ethyl ester (caps or tabs) is taken 30 minutes
prior to working out on an empty stomach and has seemed to
improve the effects of creatine and lessen the side effects.
Expect to feel extra strength and short duration energy
on your first workout and every one after while taking
creatine ethyl ester. MRI is far superior, but Axis
Labs is cheaper and works as well. |

This stuff is rocket fuel! It is loaded with
everything they could think of to boost performance in the
weight room. The main, addictive ingredient seems to
be the almost 200mg of caffeine which is not prominently
mentioned on the label. The first time I took this
stuff I could do 5 extra pull-ups! |
Pre-Exercise
Supplements for Performance Enhancement
Pre-exercise supplements are usually
filled with carbohydrate and some
protein, and maybe some antioxidants and
electrolytes.
The main ingredient in many pre
exercise supplements is caffeine.
Beware of this if you are sensitive to
caffeine. Caffeine is a powerful
performance enhancer and is a controlled
substance in the Olympics
If you have not eaten a proper meal
before working out, a supplement is a
great idea and may even be superior to
food.
Post-Exercise Supplement
Post-exercise nutrition is always
where you make your gains.

option for post exercise with the hope
your body will not catabolize or break
down its own muscle. The best
option is to get a 4 or 6 : 1
carbohydrate : protein ratio shake, or
